The course met my expectations, but only to a certain extent. The trainer sort of mixed accent reduction with advanced English communication which can be looked at as a good thing but personally, it didn’t make much sense to me. The sessions were framed and designed in a way to cut the trainer’s slack rather than provide ‘real’ knowledge pertaining to English. Hridhaan is a very fluent and eloquent speaker and could’ve taught us better had he got students who were good speakers. Most people in our batch weren’t ready for advanced communication and were basic English speakers and therefore, no matter how hard Hridhaan tried, his purpose of the training got defeated.
Most of the vocabulary taught (around 50-60%) was already known to me, and so were the phrases taught quite common. However,there were a number of positives which are listed below:
